“The Tenmile Country and its Pioneer Families” Washington Co., Pa . Library says George was a Lieutenant in 2nd Battalion, Wash. Co., Pa. Militia in Aug.1793. in the 1790 census his name is spelled George Teaboe and he is loving then on the west side of the Monongahel River on the land patented to him under the title of “White Oak Flats” on Oct. 25,1787.It was on part of this land that that the present town of Greensboro was laid out.
